EDUCATION AND INSTRUCTION INSTITUTIONS IN HALEP PROVINCE ACCORDING TO NATIONAL EDUCATION AND PROVINCE YEARBOOKS

National Education yearbooks published on exilic years of 1316 (1898), 1317 (1899), 1318 (1900), 1319 (1901), 1321 (1903)by Ministry of National Education are quite rich in content. Thanks to these volumes, it is possible to access detailed statistical information about educational and instructional institutions in provinces, founders of the schools, curricula, faculty members and numbers of students. In the present study titled “Education and Instruction Institutions in Halep Province According to National Education and Province Yearbooks,” educational-instructional activities in Halep province will be scrutinized based on the data in National Education Yearbooks and Provincial Yearbooks. Information obtained from these yearbooks will be presented on existing schools, courses taught in these schools, administrative and academic personnel, madrasas, libraries and printing houses in Halep province.
