One of the important productions of the language, which make contribution in the vocabulary, is names of the books. Among the names of the books, names of some of the children’s books -which are able to present colorful world of the children into the language- attract considerable attention thanks to the language elements they include. This study aimed to analyze and classify the names of the randomly-selected 550 children’s books in terms of their grammatical view. Classification work revealed that the most heavily used names were phrases and the names constituting the components of a sentence. It was also found out that quite high number of singleword names and of the names composed of ellipted units of various structures were used in the names of these children’s books.
