There have been some developments in the field of education as well as the political, social, economic and legal structure of the Turkish nation along with the declaration of the Republic. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the understanding by the public of the reforms carried out, adoption and education in terms of contemporary to go to the civilization level of the Republic of Turkey has demonstrated a greater significance, aimed at a national and secular education in this context.
In this study, it is aimed to reach the final result of education in Antalya during the Republican Period, including historical development, literacy rate, number of students and students, number of students per school and teacher, and developments in education. Antalya education indicators in the end of the study period, with the development of the Republic of Turkey according to the average of this indicator is given to the effect on the development of Antalya.
