CONFLICT IN FILM NARRATIVE: CONFLICT AND CHARACTER CREATION IN THIS BEAUTIFUL FANTASTIC (SIMON ABOUD) FILM

The conflict that creates the driving force of film narrative is mostly character-specific and emanates from the motivation of the character. Conflict is a contradiction that advances the narrative, directs it, and embodies it by revealing the main theme of the film story. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the structure of the concept of conflict which is the essence of film narratives.. In the study, firstly, after defining the concept of conflict, it was resolved how the conflict was formed in the film "This Beautiful Fantastic” (Simon Aboud) of made in 2016. The classic narrative film is also about the transformation of main conflict character Bella Brown. At the end of the narrative the main character, fearful of the disease from the plants, defeated this fear and escaped obsessive mood.
