COMPOSERS WHOSE COGNIZANCE OF COMPOSITION DIFFERENTIATED TOGETHER WITH CERTAIN FACTORS THAT PLAYED A ROLE IN THE BECOMING OF THE CLASSICAL TURKISH MUSIC INTO ALATURCA, THE TRADITIONAL TURKISH STYLE, AFTER THE REPUBLICAN ERA

In this study entitled as “Composers Whose Cognizance of Composition Differentiated Together with Certain Factors That Played a Role in the Becoming of the Classical Turkish Music into Alaturca, the traditional Turkish Style, After the Republican Era”; it has been mentioned that certain factors related to the Song form, which is the most widely used and a sort of simplificated version of the Classical Turkish Music's Non-Religious Forms that came into our lives with Haci Ârif Bey following the Republican Era particularly after 1940's, simplificated ever-increasingly and became into Alaturca, the traditional Turkish style, and a number of composers had which type of roles. At the outset, information about Haci Arif Bey and his Composition form was provided, from gen eral towards the specific. In the aforementioned study; the apprehensions of composers such as Muzaffer ?lkar, Râk?m Elkutlu, Arif Sami Toker, Ferit Sidal, Sadi Hosses, Kâmuran Yarkin, Osman Nihat Akin, Yusuf Nalkesen, Erol Sayan, Avni Anil, Teoman Alpay, Alaeddin Yavasca, Sekip Ayhan Ozisik, Semahat Ozdenses, Yildirim Gurses, Selahattin Pinar, Necdet Tokatlioglu, Serif Icli, Sadettin Kaynak, Fehmi Tokay, Lemi Atli, Ziya Taskent, Zeki Müren that mutated in the periodic conditions, are in the situation of sample. In the study; the issue that aforementioned composers were affected by what kind of elements, was analysed and it was determined what similarities and differences their artworks had. As a result of the obtained findings, it is seen that the compositions experienced simplification in musical manner in conjunction with financial concerns, however, they had used poems written with almost the same rhythms, the same syllable meters, and of course, since they could not use large forms such as composition form, they produced artworks having the same form. Haci Arif Bey highlighting of the song form, nonetheless he is our 19th century composer before the Republican era, who continues the classical tradition of the form inside it. We see that the our composers of the Republican era in the sampling situation, had stopped using the classical tradition format of the song form in the generally-accepted classical form in their works, such as method change, tune modulations in the artworks, but some of them remained loyal to the classical school. Considering all these results, it is thought that our study will shed light on us in terms of continuation of both classical manner and artistic works and it will contribute to the creation of new works.
