While there was a significant difference in state status by gender (p 0.05). In the exams of the students who received fine arts education, the state anxiety score was 41.18 and the trait anxiety score was 23.02, while the sports science students had a state anxiety score of 48.55 and trait anxiety score of 24.12. While there was no significant difference between trait anxiety scores of students who received fine arts and sports education (p> 0.05), there was a significant difference between state anxiety scores (p <0.05). Conclusion: While the state anxiety levels of university students receiving fine arts and sports education differed, trait anxiety levels were similar. The state anxiety score was found to be higher in the students who received sports education compared to the students who received art education, suggesting that the match and competition environment had an effect besides the subject difference. Sports education can be offered to students who receive fine arts education and sports education or activities to students who receive fine arts education
