This research aims to determine prospective clasroom and science teachers’ sustainable environmental attitude levels. The research has a survey model, which is considered as one of the quantitative research models. The population of the research consists of the students studying at the faculty of education of a state university located within the Mediterranean region during the 2018-2019 academic year. The research sample holds 346 students who study at the departments of clasroom and science teaching at each clas level and who have been selected through cluster sampling method. This research has employed “Sustainable Environmental Attitude Scale” developed by Y?ld?z (2011) with a reliability coefficient of .89. The tool has been presented to the views of the experts, and it has got its final form on the basis of the feedback. The validity and reliability of the scale has been calculated and the reliability coefficient of the scale has been determined as .81. Then, constructive and confirmatory factor analysis has been performed for the construct validity of the scale. As a result, the scale has been identified to poses two factors and 22-items. The research data has been analyzed through use of SPS 15 package program. First, it has determined whether the data demonstrated normal distribution, and then parametric tests have been used for data analysis. Frequency analysis, dependent samples t-test, independent samples t-test, one-way and two-way analysis of variance, single factor and two-factor ANCOVA, MANOVA and MANCOVA have been used during data analysis. Research results have revealed that the participants have a medium level of sustainable environmental attitude. Based upon the research findings, various recommendations have been provided.
