Cemal Süreya iirinde Ortak Dilin Kullanımı The Usage of Common Language ın Cemal Süreya Poetry

Abstract

Author(s): Mehmet YILMAZ

Because the fundamental principles of the Second New Poetry were not determined by the poets, who took part in the movement, with a common declearation while they were evaluating the movement, it is clear that the participating poets should be dealt with one by one. Otherwise, the peculiar language use and poetry perspective some poets are understood as if they belong to a whole. Cemal Süreya is one of the pioneers of Second New poetry. However, when his poetry and poetry perspective are examined, it is possible to encounter many factors which can be excluded from the general characteristics that are made about Second Reform poetry. In this study Cemal Süreya poetry, in terms of common language use, is tried to be evaluated through the poets life and poetry instead of the generalizations made about him.
