The purpose of this study, through the scientific research sector, is to analyze the factors hindering the process of capitalization of research data. To do this, a survey was carried out within Félix Houphouët-Boigny University. Qualitative methods through free interviews and the collection of some quantitative data allowed us to collect the necessary data and achieve the following results: the interest given to the capitalization of research data is perceived differently depending on the position of the actors and the services. Thus, despite the existence of a unit dedicated to capitalization, little research data is preserved, protected and valued. This situation makes research findings inaccessible to the scientific community.
