Glass was firstly discovered in Mesopotamia in IIIth Millennium B.C. and began to be used in bracelets from IIth Millennium B.C. onwards. Glass bracelets are ornaments that vary in terms of cut, decoration and color. This study is intended to examine the studies done on glass bracelets and introduce them. Certainly, the article cannot present all of such studies. It especially focuses on the glass bracelets belonging to the Byzantine and Islamic periods as far as the sources used, the excavation area and the museum where they are found are concerned.
