To imagine is the factory of the mind on the road to success. In this context, it is often enough to hear the name of the imagination. As soon as we hear the name of imagination, our mind take action and meet us with the real of success which is an insatiable pleasure. The aim of this study is to determine the perception of success and imagery levels of athletes who participated the Minors and Starts Regional Cross Local League 2nd Stage Competitions of Athletics Federation of Turkey. The research group of the study is consisted of 321 athletes who were determined with probabilistic random sampling method and who were participated the Minors and Starts Regional Cross Local League 2nd Stage Competitions of Athletics Federation of Turkey. In the research , in addition to personal information form prepared by researcher, as a data collection tool was used ‘The Children Version of the Perception of Success Questionnaire’ developed by Roberts, Treasure and Balague ,(1998) and adapted to Turkish by Çetinkalp (2006) and ‘Imagining Questionnaires for Children’ developed by Hall and his friends (1999) and adapted to Turkish by Kafkas (2011) to specify participaters’ levels of success perception. During the analysis of the datas , T-testi, Anova ve Kruskal Wallis-H analysis are applied. As a result of the findings obtained, the perception of success and imagination levels of the participants were examined in total and sub-dimensions and while considering the values that can be taken from the scale, it was determined that the total score of the perception of success level of the athletes is low and the total score of the imagination level is above the average.
