Classical Ottoman Poetry is shaped by very various cultural sources. One of them is social life which helps poets to comment on the life by perceiving and providing them to express their emotions, thoughts and imaginations in integrity of poetry by embellishing. Social life has become an important source with its wealth of material benefits for very wellknown poets who are good observers to assess the identity of any material in the environment that shaped the art. In this study, we review the plays which is the most significant part of entertainment of social life and how they are functioned in poet’s poems as a source of Classical Ottoman Poetry.
