ANIMALS IN HE POEMS OF METİN ELOĞLU AS A REFLECTING TOOL

Art is a way of reflection. Since the ancient ages, natute has become an important model of art. The work of the artists has been accepted as a successful work according to the realism in reflecting nature. Nature can be reflected with its ordinary condition for an aesthetic goal. It can also be reflected fort he human conditions to criticize or to praise, if it is idealized or personalized. One of the important poets in Turkish poetry Metin Elo?lu has used some animals in his poems. In this article, the animals in his poems has been highlighted. This poet sees natüre as a sanctuary and a asylum place and he reflects the the problems in society and does social criticisms by using animals. It has been unearthed that he has looked forthe regulations in the world of animals in natüre although there is chaos in the modern life.
