ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED BY FEMALE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIA

Health is one of the occupational groups in which women are heavily involved in working life. The field of health poses enormous challenges in all aspects as it is directly related to human life. Women in particular face greater difficulties in this area. Covidien-19, is a global epidemic of World and Turkey has struggled for eight months. In this process, the virus caused millions of people to become infected and more than one million people to die. As the number of the people caught with Covid-19 in the world increases, the job of healthcare professionals becomes more difficult. The purpose of study is to reveal what kind of difficulties female healthcare workers face during the pandemic period when the difficulty of the work increases. The “interview” method was used in the study. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the Covid-19 pandemic process further increased the vocational difficulties of female healthcare professionals. In addition, in the study, it was determined that the problems that increased during the pandemic period were caused by intense working hours and working conditions, communication and financial problems and all kinds of violent acts faced by women.
