Nation’s struggle with democratic stance in the face of the July 15 coup attempt, and it is stated that Turkey was an important turning point in the history of democracy. In this context, the aim of this study is to describe the "Resurrection from the Occupation Initiative; The Anatomy of July 15 "documentary. In this study, document analysis approach was preferred from qualitative research methods. "Resurrection from the Occupation Initiative; The Anatomy of July 15" documentary and the field notes are the data of the research. In this study, data were analyzed using the data analysis program NVivo 11 qualitative descriptive analysis technique. According to the analysis results, it was determined that the society saw the July 15th as the chosen trauma in the documentary. It is seen that the chosen glory was achieved with the democratic stance displayed in the face of this situation. In the documentary it has been found that the entire society is regarded as a superior identity. The documentary, which saw itself as belonging to the community and the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been determined that it detects as a leader. In the documentary, symbols related to July 15 have been frequently used. As a result, he supports the concept of this work on political philosophy and is thought to be a resource for the teaching of these disciplines line.
