Bilge Karasu is one of the prominent modern Turkish authors with his unique manner of telling stories, imaginative language and his approach to relationship between humankind and the nature. His Göçmü? Kediler Bahçesi is his work of folk tale as he calls it. Though, texts in the book can be considered as a “story” because of both the length of texts and the way of narration. His story of “Av?ndan El Alan” in the book Göçmü? Kediler Bahçesi; is the first of the total thirteen texts and it is an example of “frame narrative”, in which the stories take place in-between of other stories. The story consist of a "main narrative"; which is an inclusive narrative type, and "sub-narratives" that are thematically-overlapping and serve to improve the actions of “main narrative”. The main objective of this work is to discover the untraditional narrative elements in the story of “Av?ndan El Alan”.
