Determining the participation barriers to parks from urban recreation areas where individuals spend their leisure time is important in terms of realizing the planning for facilitating their participation. The aim of the study is to determine the differences of individuals' barriers to participation in urban recreational parks according to demographic variables. For this purpose, 396 participants were reached in Antalya Konyaalt? and Muratpa?a districts. The Urban Recreative Parking Areas Participation Barriers Scale was used to collect data. In addition to descriptive statistics, parametric tests, t test and ANOVA were used in data analysis. As a result of the data analysis, it was determined that there was no difference in the participation barriers of the research participants in the urban recreational park areas according to gender, the recreational activities they participated in and the frequency of their participation in the recreational activities, and there was a differentiation according to age, educational status, marital status, monthly income and the reasons for visiting recreational parks.
