Mustafa Kemal Atatürk did not pay any visit abroad during his fifteen years of service as the President of Republic of Turkey. The reasons that have been put forward regarding the subject in the article have been tried to be put into evaluation by taking into account the current developments of the period. This article aims to bring the question “why he didn’t pay visit to any foreign country” to light within the framework of the national strategy and foreign policy pursued due to the conditions inside and outside the country at that period, and Atatürk’s health, and particularly his personality.
