AN ANALYSIS IN THE CONTEXT OF SEARCH FOR DEISM AND NATURAL RELIGION

Abstract

Author(s): İbrahim Halil ERDOĞAN

The problem of prophecy is one of the main subjects of the word of worship. After the second half of the Hijri II. century, the influence of the members of the Barahim is seen in the debates on Prophethood. The Brahmanans, who have a belief that is not based on revelation, claim that the prophecy is meaningless, even though they have the faith of a God who creates the cosmological universe. In this context in general they did not accept revelation, in particular the prophecy of Prophet Muhammad. In the 17th century, in Europe, especially in England, Christian clerics had to press on society with an understanding of religion that was not at peace with the nature of man, and a large part of the population most of them are scientists went into search for a new religion. In this sense, they rejected the religion based on the revelation, and adopted a belief in the purely minded leadership. Recently, Deism has passed the climb again. It is the main objective of this study that the reasons leading to the emergence of Deism are different from those of the present Deist orientations. It is emphasized that the measures to be taken in this context should be evaluated with different perspectives.
