ALTERNATIVE TOURISM POTENTIAL OF KEMER

Today, the environment and sustainability have become an important issue. In this study, it is aimed to determine the alternative tourism types that can be made and made in Kemer county of Antalya through the local and the association administrations with SWOT analysis. In this context, Kemer's weaknesses and powerful aspects in terms of alternative tourism, opportunities and threats for the future have been examined. Interview technique was used from qualitative research methods. With a total of 4 managers were interviewed by local administrators and tourism associations. Participants emphasize that Kemer is suitable for a types of natural, historical, cultural-based tourism. Managers in Kemer were concluded to worried about single pazaar orientation, lack of planning, short season, authority complexity, concretion, lack of natural beauty, lack of marketing and confidence. Regarding obstacles in front of the development of alternative tourism have been made suggestions.
