In ?slam, licits-illicits are important and therefore this issue is one of the most topics that dwell on. Foremost among these take part the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and cleaning agents. Because, today used food additives in food industry, in point of licit/illicit and clean/unclean are obtained from different sources. As already known, today, in food, drugs, cosmetics and cleaning industries such as alcohol, dead animals, pork products etc. some impure additives are also used in various ways for different purposes. Contemporary Islamic jurists’ basic starting point based on, in respect of determining provision of food, medicine and so on materials which impure or forbidden ingredients are found in, provided solutions by the classical period scholars to the issue metamorphosis and consumption in question. While some of Islamic jurists who deal with the subject making the issue difficult the other some facilitate it. This leads Muslims to hesitations on the subject. Therefore, we are of the opinion that the issue must discussed according to understanding of the principles of the sect and solutions which they have brought to similar issues, namely to be addressed in accordance with the ecole systematic and assessment to be done must made in this direction. Because of this, we will take into consideration the explanations and examples which Hanafi, Maliki, Shafii and Hanbali's sects bring to the nature of metamorphosis and consumption. After putting forth theoretical understanding of these sects about metamorphosis and consumption, we will do the examination subject in Islamic level the effect of the provision of unclean substances to these two activities.
