Author(s): Özcan OĞUR

In this study, Konya Hurufat notebooks, and written tasks of civil servants, foundations are written and kept by Divan-i Hümayun Ruus, which were given by the Sultan. As it is known, the main subject of the Hurufat notebooks is the assignment and abolition of the foundation institutions. Especially in the first half of the XVIII. and XIX. century, the problems encountered in the foundation institutions of Konya were examined by examining the grievance examples. Hereby, the cases referred to the Divan-? Hümayun, Meclis-i ?er and Konya lawcourt were handled one by one. Some of the words which are not used today but which are frequently used in the documents are tried to be reflected in the terminology of the reasoning of the period. In addition, the period in which the hurufat were kept were explained and the ways in which these books were kept by the Divân-i Hümâyû, based on the forms of emergence, the examples of the documents and the studies.
