A VIEW ON PROSE STORIES’ EXTRAORDINARY COMPONENTS IN CLASSICAL TURKISH LITERATURE

Abstract

Author(s): Ibrahim SONA

Classical Turkish Literature has an effect on the other literatures which are same and later it. One of the most important factors of this interaction is the wide borders of Ottoman Empire. The most popular Arabic and Persian works are translated to Turkish and the network between the literatures gets strong thanks to the translations. Prose stories, included in the translated works, transpose to Turkish in the beginning and then copyright stories are written. Translated and copyright stories, containing the traces of many cultures, take attention because of their contents. Extraordinariness is one of the remarkable elements in the stories. In this study, it is tried to develop a view by determining some components.
