Bahad?rYeni?ehirlio?lu is one of the important names of the recent Turkish literature. Emphasizing that novelism is very important for the construction of a strong civilization, the author wants to reach generations for the construction of civilization. Blending cultural codes with today, he presents them with a global view to generations through his novels. One of the novels he wrote with this perspective is “Wh?te Master Black Apprent?ce”. In this novel, he discusses the period of 12th September as a cultural code in the background. Yeni?ehirlio?lu travels not only to history but to human spirit in terms of history. Blending 12th September with today, the author tells the story of Sarp, the protagonist of the novel, and what he lives on the road to true love and his epigraph on the journey of sufism. Bahad?r Yeni?ehirlio?lu, stated in various interviews that the Sarp character in the novel reflects himself.. In this respect, the Wh?te Master Black Apprent?ce can be called an autobiographical novel. The aim of this study is to examine the novel of the Wh?te Master Black Apprent?ce and to make the novel understood in all dimensions.
