A Study on Problem Behavior of 60-72 Months Children Who Attending Public Early Childhood Education Institution

The purpose of this study to investigate problem behaviours of children who attending public early childhood education institution. The important of this study to show the way to early childhood education programs.Relational Scanning Model has been selected for examining the problem behaviours of the children according to the some of the variables at research. Research environment is formed by 60-72 months old children that going on to independent nursery schools dependent upon MEB in Century districts of Ankara (n=1362). Research examples are composed of 330 children that selected by coincidental group illustration from environment. Study of the Validity and Trsutworthy of the Preschool and Kindergarten Behaviours Scales (PKBS-2) has been used as data collection tool which was developed by Kenneth W.Merril in 1994 and revised in 2003. The scale seperate into two independent scale as; Social Skill Scale and Problem Behaviour Scale. Problem Behaviour Scale has been used this research. Problem Behaviour Scale into four factor as; Externalizing Problems, nternalizing Problems, Antisocial and Self-Centered. This results of study was found; the problem behaviours of the children differantiate according to the sexuality of the children, order of birth attending, time to the preliminary school, education state of the father. But it doesn’t differantiate according to the variables like; state of own whole family, job of the mother, education of the mother.
