The fairy tale of Anonymous Folk Literature is now felt in both oral and written sources. In addition to reflecting the folkloric elements of the geography in which a fairy tale is located, some universal functionalities operate at the same time. This universality makes some values common for tales ranging from the lowest layer to the top (king, monarch) of the heroes. Vladimir Propp has studied the functionalities on these universal values and has published the work called “Masal?n Biçimbilimi (Morfologiya Skazki)” which was translated into Turkish language between 1978-1982. In this work, we will try to apply this theory, on tale (Ercin Tale) which have compiled from the Yozgat region with the motive of Propp’s approach
