The poem, Barak Muslu Mezarl???, by Atilla ?lhan, who wrote his poems from the point of social realsim in the republican eraTurkish literature, was studied in terms of content and form. The poet deals with the recognition of war of Anatolian geography, where he lived, and its sufferings experienced in the past in the story of verse form. Deaths caused by the war and ordinary deaths are compared. Barak Muslu cemetery is filled with the graves of ordinary people. However, those who were buried there later can visit the garaves of their ancestors. Those who died in the war even have no graves. Bringing innovation to the Turkish poetry in terms of form, the poet pioneers many poets coming after him. Although the subject dealt with cultural values with a new perspective that refuses to spelling and punctuation are not left aside. The poet assimilates narrator- hero realms of world with his own world of thoughts. The poet who has large use of image makes use of symbols as well. Poet uses a unique style and oratory style and also choose the plea. Per verse repeats and repeats intra-verse add harmony to poetry. The harmony within the sound similarities also increases the whole harmony of the poem. He uses a style of expression very close colloquial language.
