A SAMPLE ON THE CONCEPTUAL COMPLEXITY IN DOCTRINE: SOCIAL SERVICES & SIMILAR CONCEPTS

Social problems emerged with the existance of humanity continued their existance by changing their characteristics in time. Different concepts and practices related with this subject arose in this course. Firstly, social problem and social politics concept and social state concept were widely used. Then, concepts of social welfare, social welfare state were preferred. Througout the time, concepts such as social exclusion instead of social problem and social protection instead of social welfare were started to be used. In fact, mentioned concepts are used in lieu of each other and conceptual confusion appears. Within this complexity, it is of a special importance to situate the concept of social services.
