One of the last poetics trials in Turkish literature history is the Newwholistic (Yenibütüncü) poetry manifesto published in 1988. This manifesto published in Broy magazine was signed by Seyyit Nezir, Veysel Çolak, Hüseyin Haydar, Metin Cengiz and Tu?rul Keskin. Newwholistic (Yenibütüncü) poetry, first of all, is an effort to capture a new outlet during the collapse of socialist realistic poetry in the world of literature and art after the 12 September coup, without ignoring the individual with an aesthetic and philosophical approach. The Newwholistic (Yenibütüncü) poets, considering themselves as responsible for representing the lyricism of the intelligence dedicated to disrupting the magic of money, invite people who are away from politics with the 80 coup to become a politic having peace of mind. The newwholistic (Yenibütüncü) manifesto cannot have a strong impact on a number of internal and external reasons. As a result, the effects of Newwholistic (Yenibütüncü) poetics are weak in an environment that has not yet been able to wrap up the social traumas of 12 September and has not been yet overcome the shock of the coup, and it has been on the top of the criticism against to socialist realist poetry. In short, in an era where poetical terms and many other fields of culture and literature were closed, comprehensive and systematic definitions fell into disregard, the language, style and content of the Newwholistic (Yenibütüncü) poetics can be read as romantic, as an anachronistic poetic trial.
