A RESEARCH ON THE PURCHASING BEHAVIOR OF FOOTBALL TEAM FANS (GOZTEPE SPORT CLUB EXAMPLE)

This study aims to investigate purchasing behaviors of Göztepe Sports Club Football fans. The sample group consisted of 1053 supporters, 1003 men and 50 women, from the Göztepe Sports Club. Study on the Procurement Behavior of Football Fans”questionnaire developed by Keskin (2014) was administered to volunteer participants via the online system. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using SPSS for Windows 22.0 program. One way Anova test was used as the descriptive statistical methods to compare the quantitative continuous data between number, percentage, mean, standard deviation and more than two independent groups. As a result, Göztepe Sports Club supporters prefer to buy the licensed products of the team, they prefer to follow the matches in the stadiums; It is revealed that they aim to support the team financially and morally and prefer more clothing products.
