A RESEARCH ON DETERMINATION OF STUDENTS’ ATTITUDES ON GREEN PRODUCTS

The purpose of this study is to determine attitudes of students to the concept of green products. In this context, a conceptual framework was formed by reviewing similar studies in the literature and then datas were collected with the questionnaire method. The datascollected were analyzed via SPSS statistical software. As a result of the factor analysis performed, the factors influencing the attitudes of students to the concept of green products were categorized under 5 main topics which are environmental sensitivity, use of recycled products, ecological awareness, tendency of choosing environmentally products and environmental protection. Then, the relationship and differences between these factors and demographic characteristics were investigated. In the study, the fact that the first grade students show more environmental sensitivity than the second grade students was determined. Moreover, it was determinde that the environmental sensitivity is in relation with the age variable in a negative direction.
