A QUANTITATIVE ANALYZE ON IMAM HATIP HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT’S PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR TENDENCY

The purpose of this study is to analyze the prosocial behaviors tendency of imam hatip high school students. This study was performed on 178 students in Kastamonu Imam Hatip High School. General scanning method was used in this research; the data has been obtained by conducting lykert-type scale questionnaires including 7 items. Measurement tool used is called “The Help Orientation Scale” developed by Ayten (2009). The value of the overall reliability of measurement instrument is .55. As a result of this study, it was found that, the level of prosocial behaviors tendency of students don't show a significant differentiation with regard to distribution of birth place, mother’s educational level, father’s profession, geographic region, location spent more times, whereas it has shown a significant differentiation with regard to gender, being hafiz, father’s educational level, monthly average income, number of brother.
