In the historical process, the sociological functions that society/society ascribe to sports, eugenic goals as a part of population and health policies, a method of social discipline, and militarization of society show that the focus is on issues. Even until the middle of the 20th century, sports, which was a dimension of the modern state's project to manage the population and life in the bio-political context, stands out as a form of the entertainment industry in the 21st century. For these reasons, it has become important to research and know about it. In this context, active or passive interest of societies, groups or individuals in sports necessitates sociological research and explanations on sports. Because sport becomes one of the realities of societies, both by being inspired by the cultures of the societies and by permeating the cultures of the societies. For this reason, every element, from the team names, colors, logos and mottos chosen by the football clubs, has a meaning and importance.
