A GENERAL EVALUATION ON THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN TEACHING TURKISH TO FOREIGNERS

In recent years, studies on teaching Turkish to foreigners have been increasing rapidly. When the relevant literature is examined, many studies have been conducted on teaching Turkish to foreigners. Especially the studies on the problems encountered in teaching Turkish to foreigners attract attention. As a matter of fact, when the literature is examined, it has been seen that although many studies have been carried out on the problems encountered in the Turkish teaching process, a common conclusion has not been reached. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to reveal the main problems encountered in teaching Turkish to foreign students in a holistic way. In this context, studies dealing with the problems encountered in teaching Turkish to foreigners were examined and a general evaluation was made. As a result of the study, the problems encountered in teaching Turkish; Problems related to qualified lecturers/ teaching staff, problems related to certification and problems related to resources used in Turkish teaching were collected and discussed in three groups.
