Use of material which are gathered material from ruined or solid buildings are pravalent in Anatolian Turk’s architecture. In Anatolia, gathered materials differently are used in all of historic buildings which were built by Turks. Column caps which are used to carry portico’s arches of Gök Madrasah are example for use of gathered materials. Gök Madrasah which is called Muineddin Pervane Hospital, K?rk K?zlar Hospital and Mental Hospital was built by Muineddin Pervane in 1277. There are 12 gathered column caps in portico of madrasah. In this study, Tokat Gök Madrasah and gathered materials are analyzed. Some of gathered materials is plinth. Three of gathered materials in point are marble, other are limestone. In view of ornament and construction practice, this plinths and column caps are dated 5. and 6. century. Plinths and column caps which were used in Komana and Sebastopolis antique cities situated in Tokat province today have several characteristics in common with Gök Madrasah’s plinth and column caps so it is thought that gathered materials which are analyzed in this study are brought from Komana or Sebastapolis.
