TIME MANAGEMENT IN HEALTH CARE WORKERS (THE CASE OF SIVAS PROVIENCE)

Time management is a very important concept in terms of health services. Health care workers should aim to use time effectively and have knowledge of time management. This will help to prevent disruption of health care. With this thesis, a study was conducted on health care workers working in Sivas Provincial Health Directorate, Sivas Numune Hospital and Sivas Oral and Dental Health Hospital. The research was conducted to measure the success of health care workers in using time efficiently. As a result of the research, it was seen that health care workers did their jobs during working hours and did not postpone important jobs. The majority of the participants were satisfied with the work environment, Health care workers do their work by preparing programs and rank their important jobs. Health care workers are successful in making programs but fail to make written plans. They design their plans in their minds. One of the most negative findings of the study is the lack of communication between workers.
