“Aruz” what is the meter of verse texts of Classical Turkish Literature is shown itself as long and short syllables of the rhythmic and systematic manner in poetries. However theoretical seat, “aruz” which contains a lot of details was evaluated as an independent discipline. A lot of definitions, terms and phrases in works that talking about theory of “aruz” have no practical effect. It is seen that there are huge differences between to know discipline of “aruz” and to use this meter in poetries. In this work, pamphlets mentioned in the theory of “aruz” and its features will be touched on and it will be questioned that Turks add any element to this meter or not. At the and of work three different aruz pamphlets that we have fixed they didn’t publish before will be given with transcription scripts.
