In this study, we examined that the releationship between literature and cinema, similarities and differences between novel and film to be determined. The film will explore the reasons referred to literature and film adaptation of the novel methods will be discussed.By giving examples of domestic and foreign novels, adapted from literature to cinema, film adaptations of the novel gains and losses when they have obtained will be discussed in the context of the sociology of literature. Also, exceptional adaptations from cinema to literature and the adaptation techniques will be mentioned.
