THE REFLECTIONS OF GEOMETRY ON THE ART OF PAINTING

Mathematics and geometry are concepts that are frightened by all parts of our society. One of the reason is stereotyped judgments. When we ask what mathematics is, many say it's numbers, very few of them think it is art, yes it is the art, the art of living. In this study, it is shown that mathematics and geometry are not just numbers, and the reflections of geometry on the art of painting are emphasized and examples are given. It has been seen that the use of the artistic aspect of mathematics in teaching geometry would be beneficial.
