THE INCREASING TURKISH HOSTILITIY IN EUROPA

Turks have begun to take more place in the European Union (EU) agenda than in previous years with the changing social and socio-economic developments. Within the EU, Turks are often brought together with Islam and brought to the agenda by integrating them on the subject of immigrants. In Europe, the concepts of "Turkish" and "Muslim" are generally perceived and used as equivalent. Anti-Islamism (Islamophobia), which is widespread in the world, affects the way in which the Turks arrive in Europe. In this study, the situation of coming of the Turks in European society was discussed; It has been tried to be analyzed around the basic reasons behind the Turkish hostility. In this context, firstly, the issue of history analyzed with taken up in the context of Vienna's two-time encirclement by the Ottomans, followed by the phenomenon of the migration of the Arab Spring, and finally, in terms of extreme right and radical tendencies due to economic developments between Turkey and Europe.
