THE EFFECTS OF SYRIAN REFUGEES ON KIRIKHAN (HATAY)

Political immigration as a result of the civil chaos in Syria has effected the countries which have border with Syria. This immigration movement due to political reasons has created some social, cultural and economical problems. This study aims to examine the effects of the Syrian refugees, who started to reside in K?r?khan province since 2012 in terms of residence, education, health, cultural and economical ways. The relevant data is acquired for the study using survey method. The survey questions translated into Arabic has been applied to 900 families via translators. Aiming all parts of K?r?khan province Turkish survey has been applied to 600 families. The survey results have been assessed and acquired some inferences. K?r?khan province nevertheless couldn't manage the infrastructure works today, the immigration of Syrian refugees to the city has created some problems such as transportation, health, residence and economical. Some solution recommendations have been submitted in the conclusion part of this study
