?THE EFFECTS OF COMBINATIN THE HISTORY SUBJECTS WITH LOCAL HISTORY ON THE SUCCES OF STUDENTS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL

In this research, it is tried to be explained the local history, what’s local history teaching, its benefits and how it wüll be applied to teaching. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of local history teaching and to study local history subjects in history lessons with fixing the effects of academical success over students. Pretesting-post testing experiment control grouping model is used in this research. 6 th Class students of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Primary School in Pasinler, Erzurum, take part in the practicing of the research. Datas, as the results of application, were analized with SPSS programme.
