The personal information form developed by the researcher, the Social Appearance Anxiety Scale developed by Hart et al (2008) and adapted to Turkish by Do?an (2010) were used for the study to achieve its objective. In the analysis of the data, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were conducted as the distribution upon the One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test appeared as nonparametric. In conclusion of the study, it was determined that the individuals taking part in it had low-level social appearance anxiety. While no significant difference was determined in terms of social appearance anxiety in some demographic properties, such significant difference was present in some others.
