PRODUCT SELECTION FOR COMMERCIAL AGRICULTUREL ACTIVITIES IN THE RURAL AREAS THAT HAS LIMITED AGRICULTURAL SOIL: WALNUT CULTIVATION IN TORTUM CREEK WATERSHED

The aim of study is to mention the identity of important activity that has the most economic contribution to region as a commercial sort by investigating the activities carried out in the rural settlements that has less agricultural land. By this way, Tortum Creek Watershed that has steep topography and limited agricultural land have been chosen as a study area and by looking at the agricultural activities that has been practiced in the area, walnut farm thought to contribute most in the practiced activities have been determined as a commercial sort. To reverse existing production as commercially, alternative solutions have been offered by exhibiting the problems that has been faced during the production, processing and marketing of the product.
