LEVELS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS' PROFESSIONAL ETHICS PRINCIPLES

The aim of this study is to examine several variables about ethical principles of primary school teachers. Variables are teachers' gender, age, seniority, education level and the abroad experience. The sample of the study consisted of 130 teachers in the city of Adana. . In this research, descriptive research which is one of the quantitative research methods was used. Data from the statistical comparison T-test for independent samples and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. As a result, teachers were high levels of compliance with ethical principles. Highest ethical sensitivity skills were found as an "I refrain from actions that harm people, I apply the rules equally to everyone, I adopt the behaviors required by the profession. Lowest ethical sensitivity skills were found as an " I'm not constructive human relations". Also, there is a significant differences between gender, age, level of education and ethical principles and there is not a significant differences between seniority and abroad experiences and ethical principles.
