The point at which human life ends is called death. Many beliefs and practices have emerged around death, which is the last stage of transitional periods in human life. The most important source of these practices is religion. There are individuals belonging to different ethnic and belief groups in the town of Çad?rkaya, which is the subject of our study. The cultural values of individuals belonging to these different ethnic and belief groups, blended over the years, have also shown themselves in the subject of death. In this article, the determination of the traditions and customs, practices and rituals of the town of Çad?rkaya and its surroundings after death and the evaluation of cultural elements were made. The similarities of these practices with the pre-Islamic Turkish culture and belief system are emphasized.
