AN INVESTIGATION ON PEER BULLYING OF DELINQUENT CHILDREN IN TERMS OF CRIME CHARACTERISTICS, MIGRATION AND SCHOOL STATUS

This study aimed to compare the level of peer bullying level in delinquent children and to determine the factors (crime type, migration, school status) that may influence their peer bullying levels. The study sample included one hundred and three juvenile delinquents children. General Information Questionnaire and Peer Bullying Scala was used in the study. One Way Variance Analysis and Scheffe Test were used as statistical methods. The findings of this study with the delinquent children indicated that in some dimensions peer bullying scores vary depending on the crime type, loneliness status for the crime, crime status for the past, school status, to decamp status of the school, migration (p<.01, p<.05). Proposals for solution have been suggested in accordance with the results obtained in the study.
