The increase in the proportion of the elderly population worldwide has led to an increase in the number of studies carried out in many disciplines related to the age-old phenomenon. It would be incomplete to study aging only in biological terms. Socio-economic factors affecting the aging phenomenon, changes in lifestyle, technological developments can be mentioned in many ways. Consumption culture is also one of these factors. Consumption society, which is one of the results of the industrialization period and parallel to it, transforms the old age phenomenon both economically and culturally, as it transforms many phenomena in everyday life. Some of the features internalized with consumption culture aimed to investigate the effects on the old age case by considering their social dynamics. In addition, the consumption habits of the elderly and the elderly are included in the study. Work; Consumption culture and old age. It is important in terms of contributing to the field by valuing the occurrence of old age in the changing world order with sociologically different perspectives.
