IN CONTEXT OF SOCIETY, TECHNOLOGY AND REALITY CONCEPTS AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) AND USE AS AN EXHIBITION TOOL

Augmented reality is one of the popular technologies of recent times. It has become possible to come across this technology in art environments, which can be used for many purposes, from acquiring information to having a pleasant time. The article examines the role of augmented reality in art exhibitions. A literature review has been made for this review. With this review, a number of concepts have been emphasized. These concepts, which can be listed as society, technology and reality, have been studied under the first title of the text. The museums are also mentioned under the mentioned section and the subject of exhibition is generally discussed. Afterwards, the process of integrating augmented reality into contemporary art environments was examined. Also, in this study under the second part, the digital world and the art approaches in the digital world are mentioned. Finally, an evaluation has been made. The impact of technology on today's societies is highlighted in the assessment. In addition, issues such as the information age, the relationship between individual and identity have been emphasized.
