INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

       The Journal of International Social Research, ISSN: 1307-9581, an international, peer-reviewed, on the web publication, from 2007 will be issued four times annualy ( Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer).

         The Journal of International Social Research includes research on the  fields of literature, linguistics, philology, history, geography, anthropology, archaeology, psychology, sociology, education, theology etc.

        The Journal of International Social Research indexed in EBSCO, MLA International Bibliography, DOAJ, CSA (Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts), BC ELN (British Columbia Electronic Library Network), Scientific Commons, Ulrichsweb, Index Copernicus, J-Gate, ICAAP and Journal Seek

       Manuscripts (in English, in French or in Turkish) should not exceed 40 standard pages in lenght. Articles should be accompanied by a summary of size not  exceeding 10 lines in English. The electronic submission of the manuscripts (in word format) is preferable.

   
   Publication Norms:

The paper must be unpublished work;

The paper must contain the author or authors’ full names, Institution they belong to and their e-mails;

The paper must be submitted in the official languages of the publication: English or Turkish; they must contain a title, a short  abstract written in English;

The maximum length for the articles is 40 pages, with a single space interlining;

The contributions must be sent in word format;

The documents must be sent preferably in Times New Romania fonts size 11, margins 1,25cm;

Footnotes must be put automatically in Times New Romania fonts size 8;

Images illustrating the text must be sent as .jpg or .tiff files; the author assumes responsibility for the right to publish the images.

JOURNAL ARTICLE:

        Example: Kirman, M. Ali (2008).Religious and Secularist Views of the Nature and the Environment", The Journal of International Social Research, Volume 1, Issue 3, pp.267-277.

The Journal of International Social Research reserves the right that upon the review by the referents to publish or reject any of the received papers and to suggest any of the collaborators changes that may be considered as necessary. The Journal of International Social Research reserves the right that request publication fees. Publication fees only apply for accepted publication.

    SPECIAL ISSUE ON WOMAN STUDIES

    THE JOURNAL OF INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL RESEARCH welcomes papers, book reviews or news and reports for its forthcoming special issue reserved for WOMAN STUDIES to be published in 2010 April.  

    This special issue will be published under the editorial of guest editor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Netice Yıldız, art historian (Eastern Mediterranean University) who had been the editor-in-chief of KADIN/WOMAN 2000.

    The deadline for submitting papers is end of 15 October 2009.
